Welcome
Offering Flying for all ages, here at the Moruya Aero Club you can learn to fly in our fleet of aircraft, or enjoy a scenic flight with one of our experienced instructors.
The Moruya Aero Club conducts flying training from the AB initio to commercial pilot license including the night VFR rating. In addition to these licences and ratings the club offers a number of other ratings including tailwheel, aerobatic, formation and low level.
Ultralight training is available for pilots who wish to gain a recreational licence.
The club also conducts charter flights, including local scenic flights. There are gift vouchers available to purchase for a range of scenic flights.

CFI - Graham White started flying in 1967 at Hoxton Park, Sydney. Ten years later, in 1977, he began Instructing.
As of February 2010, Graham has over 19500 hours experience. His favourite plane is the RV4, as you will notice in the Gallery, his pride and joy.
Grahams list of Ratings and Endorsements include: Multi Engine, Command Instrument Rating, Grade 1 Instructor Rating (multi engine), Night VFR, Float Plane, Tail Wheel, Aerobatics, Low Level Aerobatics, and Formation.
Before he moved to Moruya, he was at Bankstown, and Taught at the University of NSW.
Sheldon Jones started flying gliders when he was 14, after a break he started training in fixed-wing powered aircraft as a hobby, but eventually his training led to a commercial license.
His first flying job was a low-level powerline survey pilot where he flew all over NSW with an observer who looked at the powerlines and reported faults.
While working away from home, Sheldon studied the Flying instruction theory. He completed the practical part of the instructor course during the holidays and qualified in late 2007, to begin instructing in Moruya in 2008.
As of February 2010, Sheldon has over 3100 hours experience. His favourite planes are the Gazelle, Decathlon and Birdog.
Sheldons list of Ratings and Endorsements include: Low-Level, Formation, Tailwheel, Aerobatics, Instructor, Night VFR and Private Instrument.
Before he moved to Moruya, Sheldon lived in Wangaratta in Victoria.

About Moruya
Moruya is situated just south of Batemans Bay approximately 4 hours drive from Sydney on the far south coast of NSW. Most people are not aware that along the south coast the mountains come right down to the sea which produces a spectacular and rugged coast washed by pristine turquoise coloured waters. The Moruya Aero Club has a number of standard flights that have been designed to showcase our beautiful environment.
